Having trained with Anthony for 10 months I lost an incredible five stone, dropped four dress sizes and lost a massive ten inches off my waist, with the added bonus of no longer needing my diabetes medication!

The first thing that attracted me to Mind, Body and Soul for personal training was the fact Ant offers personal training in groups. I have a young family and not much spare cash so the opportunity to share the costs was ideal. It was loads of fun from the moment we started. When I first started, my goal was to lose weight. I was a serial dieter - always looking for the miracle weight loss plan. In six months working with Ant I lost a stone, a dress size and an amazing four inches of my waist all this I have maintained.
My goal is no longer focused on losing weight, but to feel better within myself, to feel healthy and fit and if losing weight comes with that then great. The work with Ant is not just exercise and diet, it is a holistic approach to dealing with my relationship with food and myself. I feel more confident have made new friends and actually enjoy going to the gym!
One of the main differences I have found is I no longer spend hours going round the super market looking at labels, no food is restricted, you eat what you choose and enjoy it! With this freedom I began to choose healthier foods as guided, still with the odd treat which I eat without guilt. My tastes have changed so much that I find it hard to eat anything too sweet. I have also learnt which foods make me feel unwell and which foods make me crave more. I now can choose whether I eat them or not.

My Husband bought me a course of personal training sessions with Ant for my birthday! A great present eh? As it happens, it turns out to have been one of the best presents that I have ever received! I will be the first to admit that I was a bit overweight and lethargic with a complete “gym phobia” and terrible eating habits! I have tried to lose weight and get fit loads of times, usually lose the weight and then plonk it back on again and never stick to an exercise regime once I have been on holiday, or squeezed into that dress! But this time has been completely different! Ant is very down to earth and explained the theories behind my new healthy eating and lifestyle extremely clearly and concisely. He helped me cope with my cravings and also my body image giving me lots of tools and techniques to help me through the day. My general physical condition and fitness levels were assessed, which enabled Ant and myself to establish a baseline and set my goals. He encouraged me to set goals that were easily measure and were sensibly achievable. My diet has completely changed, I eat much more healthily and feel much more in control of what I eat and when I eat it.
No calorie counting or weighing and no weird food combining. Just simple rules to follow. My greatest achievement though,is in the gym. I am now working out 3 times a week in the gym and walking on other days. I feel really confident in the gym and look forward to my sessions. I am pretty fit now keeping up with the kids and my husband easily! In the last couple of months, I have lost a stone and 3 pounds in weight, eight inches of my waist 3 inches of my hips and reduced my body fat by 12%. Most importantly I am still happy to continue and am showing no sign of slipping back into my old ways. I don’t want to sound like one of those “fitness freaks” but I am really enjoying my exercise and can’t wait to get even fitter! Before I started my 10 week program with Ant, I was very confused about food and Fitness. You are told by so many different people that ‘this food is good and that food is bad’ but then you are told that ‘that food is good this food is bad’. It was enough to make my head hurt, and when you are so desperate to look and feel good and be healthy you have no idea who to listen to. That’s when I decided enough was enough and got help from someone that really does know.
At the start we went through everything, like what my weight and BMI were, and what my goals were, and what was going to happen over the next 10 weeks. Throughout this I felt very at ease and was starting to understand how I was going to reach my targets.
The next part of food and fitness was the hardest, but I felt that I had good support from someone who completely understood all my worries. In the whole time training with Ant, I was given not only great advice on how to stay fit and healthy, but also mind exercises to do to help me not to slip into old habits.
Nearing the end of my training I started to panic that I couldn’t do it by myself, but Ant assured my that I had broken old habits and would be fine and if I did wobble he was only a phone call away to offer advice.
On whole I have been totally amazed at my transformation, going from a size 16 to a 12! I have changed my whole outlook on everything to do with food and have a great understanding of good and bad foods now.
The exercise part is down to me but by using the mind exercises to it’s no problem. The good thing is that it’s not a diet, it’s re-adjusting yourself into being healthy again.
In all Ant is a fantastic and very understanding trainer who totally knows his stuff!

Signing up with Anthony Sircar, Mind, Body and Soul is the best thing I have done in a very long time! I have been going to Anthony now for 12 weeks and haven’t looked back, instead I have booked up for another 10 weeks. I have lost 1 stone & 5lbs and I am still going strong. Usually by now I would have given up and gone back to my old lifestyle.
I was always your typical yo-yo dieter but Anthony has shown me a different way to think about eating, exercising and myself and what made me treat my body the way I did. I am no longer on a “DIET” instead I have changed my lifestyle, its working and most importantly I am enjoying it. I also thought I would never enjoy going to the gym but now I get annoyed if I miss a session!! Anthony has given me a workout that is varied & manageable, he assess your fitness and creates a workout for you.
No food is banned or is a sin etc, its your choice what you eat. I still have days where I eat foods that are maybe not the best choice but now instead of giving up and thinking oh no I’ve blown it, I realise I choose to eat that bag of crisps or piece of cake but now I am choosing to go back to eating healthily. I can now feel the difference in my body when I eat something that isn’t good for me and it makes me realise how badly I was treating myself in the past. As for my fitness, I no longer get out of breath walking along the street or going up the stairs!!! I have also nearly doubled what I can do in the gym and this is all within only 12 weeks. What will the next 12 bring? I can't wait.
Anthony himself is very helpful and encouraging as well as being knowledgeable and friendly. He is always at the end of a phone or email if you need some advice or just need a little extra help and encouragement. It's never a problem. He is also a man of many talents, I have a back bad which was hampering my training not to mention every day life! Anthony is also trained in massage & healing therapies so he was able to do sports massage on my back & shoulders which has helped me greatly.
I have no hesitation in recommending Anthony to anyone who has ever thought of losing weight, wants to get fit or just simply wants to change their lifestyle. He’s helping me change my life for the better. And - If you were like me at first and thought I cant do this then I will say yes you can, I am.

I recently successfully passed my 42nd annual commercial diving medical. This HSE required examination scrutinises the individual diver very closely in all the vital areas of the human body.
I am delighted to tell you that the physician who examined me pointed out various improvements on my performance on previous years, most significantly, a 10% reduction in my body fat content and a weight loss of 2 stone.

Having been on anti-depressants for over a year and putting on a few stone in weight as a result, I decided that I needed a healthier way to cope with my depression and wanted of the tablets.
I contacted Ant as he was recommended by a friend, as I was told he was someone who just doesn’t deal with just the weight but the mind as-well. Having worked for a major slimming company I thought I knew all there was to know about losing weight and what foods were good and what foods were “bad” but boy was I wrong, I soon learnt that there is no such thing as good or bad foods its how you look at food and your relationship with food.
Ant works with me to help me have a healthy relationship with food, making me realise that what I ate was MY CHOICE, not some companies idea of what I should eat, as a result of this I discovered that I have a high intolerance to wheat and lactose. Both foods which had a negative effect on me and my moods making me more tired and lethargic, which in turn brought my mood down as I had no oomph to do anything greatly improve. I felt more positive about doing things and everything wasn’t such a hassle.
At first I hated the gym I find it very boring and lose the will to live standing on the same machine for what I felt like was ages, but after discussing this with Ant he gave me a programme which is quick and exciting, and I wasn’t spending ages on the one machine, he also gave me goals to work towards and achievable goals which meant I had to push myself if I wanted to get to my goals. but lie about eating and sleeping. After cutting both foods
out of my diet I found my energy levels and moods
Ant also helped me manage my depression. He helped me look at myself in
a better light instead of this fat flump that I was seeing. He made me think
about what I wanted from life, what would make me happy and skills on how to
cope with difficult situations instead of hiding away and stuffing my face with
20lbs of chocolate.
Now 10 weeks later I have lost 9.5kg (1 stone 7lbs), I have lost 5inches
of my upper waist, 4.5 inches of my lower waist and 6 inches of my hips. I have
more energy, have a happier and more positive outlook on life and I don’t
